To protect the Patient-Provider relationship, we do not accept commercial health insurance.

We believe that our current system of health insurance inserts a middle-man into our care,

while also unnecessarily rising the cost of healthcare overall.

We are happy to offer you a superbill to submit  your own claim to your insurance. 

In our experience, commercial insurance generally does not cover Functional Medicine services.  However, most conventional laboratory assessments and imaging studies are covered by standard insurance plans. Please contact your insurance to verify coverage.

Desert Vitality, LLC operates as a fee-for-service entity.

All visits must be paid at the time of service.

We have opted-out of medicare and medicaid services.

Desert Vitality Telehealth Practice Information

Desert Vitality is a Utah-based telehealth wellness clinic providing evidence-based medical weight management, metabolic health, hormone optimization, and functional wellness services under the care of licensed healthcare providers. Services are available to eligible patients located in Utah through secure telemedicine consultations. All treatment plans, laboratory testing, and prescription decisions are based on an individualized medical evaluation and are prescribed only when clinically appropriate in accordance with Utah law and applicable medical standards. Desert Vitality does not guarantee specific outcomes, and not all patients qualify for treatment. Telehealth services are not intended for medical emergencies and do not replace a patient’s primary care physician or emergency medical care. Patients are encouraged to maintain ongoing care with their local healthcare providers. Desert Vitality is committed to protecting patient privacy and maintaining HIPAA-compliant practices for the handling of protected health information.
